BUYER GUIDE
How Long Does Custom Bag Production Take?
A realistic delivery plan follows the approval path. The clock is affected by how complete the brief is, which components are custom and how quickly decisions are confirmed.
A practical buyer checklist
Map the project stages
A typical project moves through brief review, material and component selection, sampling, revisions, written approval, production, final inspection and packing. Shipping is a separate stage. Each step needs an owner and a clear approval point.
Identify long-decision items early
Custom fabrics, colors, printed artwork, labels, hardware and packaging may require additional preparation or supplier coordination. Ask which items are likely to control the schedule before confirming a launch date.
Reduce avoidable approval delays
Send complete measurements, editable artwork, color references, packing needs, quantity and destination in the first brief. Consolidate sample comments into one marked document and identify who has final approval authority.
Confirm dates after sample approval
A preliminary estimate can help planning, but production timing should be reconfirmed when the approved sample, materials, quantity and packing are settled. Record the agreed milestones and assumptions in the order documents.
Leave room for inspection and logistics
Do not plan shipment on the same day production is expected to finish. Inspection, corrective action, packing completion, booking and export documentation all require coordination. Exact lead time is confirmed for each project in writing.
Confirm the project in writing
Final materials, MOQ, pricing, lead time, testing, packing and commercial terms depend on the approved specification and written quotation. Send BSN the actual product brief for a project-specific review.
