BUYER INTENT

The design must survive cutting, seams and assembly—not only look correct on screen.

This sourcing path is for brands that want an original textile surface to become a functional pouch: an illustrated front panel, a patterned pocket, a coordinated insert or an all-over printed body. The bag construction and the artwork cannot be approved separately because seam allowances, zipper position and panel shape change what remains visible.

Two development routes can be reviewed. The buyer can supply artwork for printing onto an agreed textile, or propose a customer-supplied fabric for technical review. Material suitability, usable width, repeat, shrinkage, color control and available quantity must be confirmed before either route is accepted.

DECISIONS BEFORE SAMPLING

Translate the visual idea into cut parts, tolerances and approval evidence.

01 · ARTWORK MAP

Mark crop, repeat and focal points

Show which motif must remain visible, which areas may be cropped and how front, back, pocket and gusset panels relate.

Use the alignment guide →
02 · BASE & LINING

Specify the non-printed construction

Record the base fabric, lining direction, reinforcement, seam finish and hand-feel target around the illustrated panel.

Compare material directions →
03 · ZIPPER & HARDWARE

Approve function and appearance together

Confirm zipper tape, coil or teeth, slider, puller, hardware finish and attachment within the finished sample.

Review zipper and lining →
04 · LABEL & PACK-OUT

Define what makes the pouch retail-ready

List required brand labels, care information, barcode placement, individual packing and carton marks for review.

Plan the private-label handoff →

QUOTE-READY PATH

01

Send the visual direction

Share artwork, a pattern file, fabric reference or inspiration image, plus the intended pouch format.

02

Map every visible panel

Set focal points, repeat direction, seam allowances and acceptable placement variation on the cut pattern.

03

Approve material and sample

Review print or proposed fabric, base, lining, zipper, hardware, labels and the complete finished pouch.

04

Lock production evidence

Freeze artwork revision, panel map, golden sample, inspection points and retail pack-out requirements.

Artwork ownership and material feasibility must be confirmed for the project.

The buyer should hold the rights to supplied artwork, logos and textile designs. Customer-supplied fabric is not automatically suitable for production; construction, usable width, defects, shrinkage, color behavior and replacement availability require technical review. No print method, color tolerance or material performance is assumed before written approval.

BUYER FAQ

Questions to settle before quotation and sampling.

Can BSN make pouches from our illustrated artwork?

Artwork can be reviewed for printing onto an agreed textile and pouch pattern. Supply the editable file, scale, repeat direction, target colors and any focal motifs that must remain visible.

Can we supply our own fabric?

A customer-supplied fabric route can be evaluated, but suitability, available quantity, usable width, defects, shrinkage, color consistency and logistics must be reviewed before confirmation.

How is artwork placement approved?

Use a panel map and cut-pattern proof, then approve the finished sample for crop, repeat, seam loss, front-to-back relationship and zipper or pocket interruptions.

What should be included for quotation?

Share the pouch size, intended use, quantity, destination, artwork or fabric route, base and lining direction, zipper or hardware requirements, labels, packing and target timing.
