BUYER INTENT
For one buyer, retail-ready may mean a woven label and individual protective bag. For another, it may include a hangtag, buyer-supplied barcode data, warning text, SKU separation, inner cartons and destination-specific carton marks. The required state must be written by SKU rather than assumed.
The product specification and the pack-out specification should be controlled together. A correct pouch can still create receiving delays if labels, quantities, barcodes or carton allocation do not match the approved order file.
